Rain, Rain go away...

and don't come back!

This morning we awoke to buckets of rain (booo). All those sun dresses that I packed were pushed to the back of the closet as I rummaged for what little "cold" clothing I brought with me. Usually when I get ready for life in the morning, I shower, moisturize, dress and go (I don't even dry my hair), however I have since developed a fascination with the magnifying mirror in my bathroom. I have never seen anything like it and have no clue how much this thing magnifies, but it is scary. Scary like a car crash because you cant help but look. This, I have discovered had added at least another 10 minutes to my morning routine - I tried to capture what I see looking back at me, but my photo does not do it justice...

Anyhow, there is no weather crappy enough (nor pores on my face big enough) to damper a car ride with driver Bob!

When we get in the car in the morning, there is always the newspaper waiting for us. My favorite thing are the bits of "news", but particularly the headings! Here are a sampling of gems that were in today's morning paper...

Once at work it was all very hectic as today was the big production meeting. Before we went over I grabbed some coffee and I was so proud of myself as I had stolen (and by stolen I mean rightfully taken) extra coffee cups from Starbucks yesterday so that I would not have to subject myself to the cups here in the office! I snapped this photo of the kitchen, but clearly my photography skills are too good as it makes it look somewhat sanitary...

The production meeting was not as long as the one in LA, but perhaps that is because it took place in a room that looked like it belonged in Harry Potter (I wish that I could have taken photos). I could have stared at the ceiling and wood work for many hours!!

Then it was back to the office. I did my usual rounds of socialization and then got down to work. But not before I snapped some "candid" / paparazzi style pics of some of the people here so you know what they look like!

Ok, well looks as though I am going to be at the office all night tonight (boo) - was hoping to get dinner/ drinks with Alex Hatch (sorry love??!!), but will instead be churning out schedules...

I want to say a HUGE thank you for breaking all records yesterday! Who knew that a jaunt to a local supermarket would generate so much buzz - there were 175 hits to aya adventures!! yippeeeeeee
